Well, the extended duration respiratory illness sweeping the NE has put me and the soon-to-be-wife off the tandem for a few weeks. She's still weak enough that we had to cancel the tandem riding during our honeymoon in Spain. A real drag. Still, Spain is somsething to look forward to. We'll just be driving and walking instead of bike touring.

Yuck, how frustrating! I can usually get away with a little bit of cycling with a head cold or a bit of a mild fever, but as soon as lungs/coughing are involved, trying to cycle means I just SHRED my lungs and make everything worse. Stay off the bike until you're *really* over it, or you might make things worse. :(
