I've been lurking for a month or so now - toying with the idea of getting back into riding. I did some racing through high school, but haven't put on much more than 60 miles in the last five years!

This week I took the first step - bought a '95 Trek 2100 frame & fork at a price that was too good to pass up (ol' Flea-bay - still a good deal here and there). So I'm starting my build-up this week. Hopefully this one will be rolling in a month's time.

I guess this means I should get the mtn bike out and start putting some miles on (slicks or knobbies - I need an excuse for being slow, but the knobbies might be too much)!

Hey,

I just moved from Halifax, nice place to be.

Don't know how well you know the area, but there are some great trails to be found.

check out http://www.ecmtb.com/

There is a bunch of riders in the Hali area at that site, has trail conditions and others cool things in the forum area.
