Hi,
I am pretty new owner of a Crosscheck. I had the bike built up with 700x35 Pasela tires. I picked up a set of Ritchey cross tires in 700x42. Aside from the bear of a time I had getting the tires seated on my skinny little Bontrager rims, the rear tire runs into the front derailleur. There is a bit of room left in the rear dropout adjustment. Should I just unscrew them or whatever you do to them to get a little more room? Will that quarter-inch or less mess up my shifting, etc. What do I need to be careful of, if anything? Any and all advice appreciated. Thanks.
