The Environment War!

Here in the U.S. there is a war going on. Not the war on drugs or the war on crime, but a war for the environment. This war has cost taxpayer's billions and has displaced property owners throughout the country. The constitution of the US states:
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquillity, provide for the common promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves defense, and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

If the above statement was followed, as it should be, then why is it that the "green agenda" has effectively disallowed tranquility? How is the "general welfare", being secured when the "green agenda" locks farmers out of water for the sake of a puffer fish?

It also states:

nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

If this is true, then why is it that farmers in the mid west and great lakes region have been locked out of their property because they had a "wetland" or a migratory bird landing on it?

It also states:
Amendment XIV

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

So the farmer's who have grazing cattle on public land, that are prohibited from using it, are they not being deprived? Are these same farmer's constitutional rights being violated because the "green agenda" states that their cows "trample" the ground?


It also states:

Article IV

Section 4. The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

If this is true then why is our present form of government a Democracy?
How does this pertain to Mountain Biking? Well it is simple. The very same environmental treaties, and established laws, say that because of erosion, scared animal's, trampled plants, etc. you cannot ride on specific trails. The very same treaties, and laws provide hundred's and thousand's of acres to various bird's bug's and fish. The US constitution on this very one point effectively becomes paper and ink with no value. Who has been responsible for most of the environmental laws and treaties? That answer to is simple. The U.N. and it's various organizations. These other organizations are the Sierra Club, UNESCO, the Center for Biological Diversity etc. These groups make up stories and create a certain level of panic within the world. They lead you to believe that humans are systematically destroying the world. They lead you to believe that the planet's resources are being devoured. They lead you to believe that animal's and insect's well being are more important than people. Then they slowly, very slowly, create unconstitutional laws and regulations that bottle up millions of acres of US soil. The U.N. and its puppet organizations have no jurisdiction here. Meanwhile Americans sit back unaware because of the incremental ways of the U.N. Also certain factions of the population fall for the U.N.'s made up lies, and support it; for the result do not affect them. Meanwhile MTBr's sit there and scream access and slowly get some kind of result. Group's such as IMBA claim they fight for you, but how much effect do they really have? So there really is more to this than just MTB access. The bottom line is that our founding document the constitution is null and void. The systematic theft of property in this nation, and locking out it's citizens from the pursuit of liberty is at the least a treasonous act by the people who support and enact these laws, that work against the citizen's in the U.S.

Big business can and will FUBAR the environment for MONEY. If you don't think so then go over seas where there is no OSHA or EPA. Hell, look at Nike(how to skirt child labor laws 101 Inc.) You talk about wetlands, do know that alot of wetlands are direct pipelines into aquifers. These aquifer, once contaminated with whatever take years to purge as many of them move very slowly.
CFC's-created by a chemist working for Crysler or GM, I can't remember for sure, was originally toted as being non-reactive. Ha. That being said it took like 15 years once it was discovered to be eating OUR ozone layer to get big business off thier A$$ and take action.
Yeah--I like clean air, clean water, not scrificing this planet for money-honey!! Also, I'm republican. I don't see being environmentally responsible as polar to fiscally responsiblity.

It is here several other's have read it already, they know what I mean but you are the only one who has a problem with it. Your response is not cycling related so why don't you post something relevant to the point you made? Hey hunter wht say we go torch some old growth forest and shoot what runs out the other side this afternoon. On the way back we can stop at wally world and get us a pair o them thar confederate flag bumper stickers fer or pick-up truck!!!! Seriously dude, WETLANDS--Don't pertend to speak for farmers on this topic. Most farmers I know, gladly set aside habit for wild life. It is a slam to them for you to say contrary. If I lose a few places to ride in order to protect an endangered species, honestly, I'm glad and I end the day feeling like I did my part to make this a better planet to live on.

Dirtsqueezer is 100% right. This is a cycling forum, not the place to push some right-wing political agenda. Surely there are specific places to do that.

I understand what you are saying. I did not ask a question but have simply made a point. I responded in a way that I felt was neccesary. You must understand that I have researched this for years. I have done radio broadcasts on it. You can not begin to imagine how many people I have tried to reach to explain this, and the frustration I go through when I am asked to "make a connection." I will still stand by my original statement. I have made the connection here many times on this forum alone. However I will sum it up briefly for you.
The "green agenda" has a set goal. This goal along with playing on people to "save the planet," does several things. One it sets aside areas to lock out Human access. Now I am not debating as Stan aparently sees it, the unwaranted destruction of land. There should be a limit to it. What I am saying is that the extreme side of the "green agenda," sets aside thousands of acres to lets say a cave bug. Now given that the cave bug is now given lets say 1000 acres. The "green agenda," will come in and say,"No vehicles, No Grazing, No logging." So if you once rode there TOO BAD! Now when a organization such as the Center for Bilogical Diversity comes up and says, "the migrating horn billed swallow," needs a nesting spot for the winter, they set aside lets say 10,000 acres for that. Now if you live in this area or ride here it is now off limits, because you will disturb it. Now if this keeps compounding insect after insect bird after bird, you start to lose a bunch of land real fast. Thing is the US Constitution does state that this should happen. Yet it does and because of the systematic way of its working it goes virtually un noticed. Once again I am not saying that I am for big buisness striping the planet for profit. I am however against the way the "green agenda," has with a foreign entity systematically locked up millions of this countries acres. There is a way to combat big buisness and their strip the countryside and leave it mantality, and I would ride up and fight them with you. However I will not stand by and watch as the US Constitution gets turned into toilet paper by a foreign entity seaking out a global agenda.

My $0.02 on some of this: Boise just passed a levy to provide $10 million over two years to purchase land, easements and development rights to preserve recreational land, open space and wildlife habitat. This levy was supported by a wide variety of politicians across political spectrums, the environmental groups, off-road vehicle users, cyclists, horse riders some businesses and developers. Large property owners, the chamber of commerce and many other real estate developers provided most of the opposition along with shall we say "anti-tax anything folks". Not intended as slam, just an observation on our state politics.

The enviros went out of their way to campaign for a levy that will help secure access to trails for motorbikers and cyclists? You bet. Will this stop development of the foothills? No, it will help preserve some public access and set aside some plant and wildlife habitat. Developers will continue to build, traffic loading, impact fees and all that still remains as issues. However, private landowners, ranchers, the BLM and local activists have busted their butts off to make a trail system work. These groups don't necessarily sit together and spontaneously sing "Koom ba yah". But they manage to listen to and respect each other.

It's a bumpy trail, but the view together is awesome.
