Ok I was reading mbr, a UK publication...
the term "copping" was used... Im guessing at some form of crash or another...?

Although really pricey, $10 CDN its a damn fine Mag..

They could have ment that he was going to try a trick but he copped out. Meaning he gave up and did not try it.

The only other way I could see it being used is that he thought he was so good he was copping an attitude. Becoming an a**hole.
