Hi,
I am new to this community. I am new to biking entirely actually. But since i live in Queens and don't have a car, my husband and i decided to get bikes. We will be using it about once a week to commute to work (we do like having that 30 min. train ride, to read and study). Other than that we will be biking to the park, and when we go to Nantucket, or other holidays. Our bike commute to work is about 5 miles. Here is the thing, we went and bought used bikes last night, and rode to work today. It was Great! My husband got a schwinn crossfit (it seems really good for him). I on the other handd was sold a "hybrid" but its more of a comfort bike i believe. The Raleigh sc7. It is really comfortable. The guy who sold it to us charged $150 for a used in good condition. But, I just realized it is normally a $240 bike, not to mention the one i got is a Men's. Is that bad? I didn't think about that, because it still has somewhat of a slant to it. I feel like i may have been deceived though. Any advice?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
