Busted my rear wheel today. I've had this crinking noise coming from the rear wheel for about a month and a half, and I didn't know what was wrong. It continued to get louder, but I couldn't find what was wrong. Spokes seemed okay, and axle.

Today, the spoke and nipple tore right through the rim. Came clean through, and threw off the whole wheel's alignment, and now it's hugely messed up. Not sure what I'll end up getting now. That wheel sure took a huge beating.

At least you don't have to buy a new intake manifold.

Would a Sun ringle King Pin wheel be a good replacement? I'm wanting to get into trials, and as of now, it's basically all I do. I need a wheel that can take a Hydro V easily. I'm just worried about weight.

Could an MTX wheel do well for trials? I think it's rim brake compatible.
