Pics from the ride the other day. One of a few places in the country without sand and with mountains if you can call them that.

Wow, that is what I call barren. What was the temperature like during that ride?

Here's one for a comparison I took a couple of weeks ago. Mainly a photo of my new bike, but its in the Shenandoah Valley a few miles out in the boonies, next to a trout stream.

It was only in the 90's that day. It gets ruff in the summer when it is 120. Yeah definitly dont have to deal with stream crossings or mud lol.

I spent a few weeks on a project (for Etisalat) in Dubai (even took a trip over to Abu Dabi) some years ago. It was a rather "chilly" 100F (combined with about 95% humidity) in September. :D

Yeah Abu Dhabi and Dubai are way humid. I live in Al Ain, not on the cost, not humid, very nice.
