im pretty new to the sport, and i dont know many places to ride around the central valley, (fresno area) i know about yosemite. but i dont know of any trails or anything, ive researched alot online and my searches havent turned up much. im looking for around an intermediate level trail or so. anyhelp would be great. thanks

That site is pretty sweet, has a lot of trails on it. Also, mtbr.com has NorCal forums with a ton of people from your area. I'm more than sure they could help ya out.

head up to three rivers, just east of visalia and exeter... there's a beautiful trail system dubbed 'skyline' (located off of skyline drive, right off of 198) lots of climbing, good single track, beautiful scenery.

Peter, yes, good area to ride. Have you tried North Fork Drive all the way to the end? I did that a few years ago....watch out for the damn rattlers..especially in Spring.
