I left early for work so I missed a lot of the traffic and the traffic lights were all green - 26mins/15km. I reckon I could probably shave another couple of minutes if I pumped a bit harder and conditions were right.:)

I left for work late so I missed a wonderful 10 mph. tailwind. Had to jump the train after only 4 1/2 miles.
Got to feeling crummy at work (physically,) but as soon as I got on my bike after work I pepped right up. I wasn't in top form and I had a brisk, chilly headwind, but it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful ride, clearing my head from the "nasties" I suffered from earlier.
Maybe I'm cured?

Not such a good run on the way home for me - 45 mins! Strong headwind, icy rain and heaps of traffic.

Funny how those great morning tailwinds turn into freezing, vicious headwinds on the way home! Since my commute is basically toward the southeast inbound and northwest outbound I get that a LOT this time of year.
At this time a year I tend to find it's a freezing cold headwind both there and back !
One of the Murphy's Laws of Cycling:
It has herefore been ruled that on days when the temprature is below zero and the wind abouve 20mph that the wind will alternate by exactly 180 degrees during the day.
