What do you think of them? Are they strong? What type of riding would they handle...and how about weight?
Cheers :)

I have them on my hardtail. I didn't think you could buy them seperatly always thought they were OEM things. They've been good so far, stay true well. I dunno what you'd call my riding, all mountain? agressive XC? Basicly good trails, roots, rocks, jumps/drops no more than 3ft. Nothing crazy lol.
I've been thinking about upgrading soon, I'd go with 312's or something around that level instead of the 117's. Might last you a bit longer and I dont think there too expensive.
Oh should mention I weigh around 10 stone, 140lbs, if my conversion is right. So not very heavy and I'm quite a smooth rider.

i had 117's on my bike until yesterday when my new xt/317's came in the mail.
As johny said above, they come stock on a LOT of bikes.
I didnt have any problems with mine really.
