Well, this past weekend I bought a new bike. Same as the old one, just newer.

I'm stoked about the new bike, but sad that now I've got to sell the old one. It's been a great bike for me.

New bike: '05 Specialized Enduro SX Trail
Old bike: '02 Specialized Enduro SX.

Pics to follow as soon as I get some time to take them.

First thing I did when I got home was to strip all the parts off my old one that I wanted to transfer to the new one.

Chris King Headset, XTR 8 speed shifters, ODI grips, Thomson Elite post and Azonic seat. Mostly just the touch points.

I'm trying to decide about the pedals. I have a set of TruVative, but the stock Specialized ones are pretty nice as well.

I loved my Enduro so much I wanted the same bike, just with newer stuff.

I am going to miss her though. I was cleaning her up last night and was thinking of all the rides I've done and all the good times.

So, now I've got to sell her.

Oh well, can't look back, gotta move forward. I'm anticipating many more new memories on the new one!

Great to hear. As a long-time FSR/Enduro fan, I am extremely happy with my 05 SXT.
Of course, we need pics ASAP. :)

What fork will you be using?

Don't sell it then, just convert it to a single speed.

The stock fork is a Marzocchi 66R and I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I've got a Z1 on my old Enduro and I thought that was a great fork, but the new longer travel 66, is even better.

As far as converting it. Uh, NO!

I've already got a SS, and a SS FS is too complicated. Plus, I need to sell the old one to help pay for the new one.

Yeah, I should have sold the old one first, but I needed to pillage all the parts from it.

Sweet bike fer sure. You should bring it up to the spring forum ride and break it in right.
