Track Cycling: Velodrome Racing and Training Area - can you identify this chainring?

Chainring was bought used, and I've never known what make it is. The only markings on it are those in the photo.
It's 144bcd and 1/8". The machining is pretty good quality, and the ring is ultra round and smooth running.
Any ideas?

A full picture of the chainring might help identify the style
From the picture, it reminds me of some sugino stuff I've seen before

All the Sugino's I have say "Sugino" on them.
the ones with the cutouts like that say "Sugino<XX>Japan" where the XX is the number of teeth, and "Mighty Competition" is stamped elsewhere on them. They have nice machining
the Sugino M-Types have tabs rather than cutouts, but also say "Sugino" on them.
None of them have the width marked.
I have a Nervar (strange brand that came with my old gitane) chainring that has the cutouts, but it looks stamped and doesn't have the nice machining of the teeth. It also doesn't say anything on it, and is some weirdass bolt circle.

I've seen Gipiemme chainrings like that. I have one around somewhere, and the markings are the same. The drillings are close too the inner rim like the one in the picture, but I'm pretty sure that it says Gipiemme on the chainring at some point.

You're a star! Thanks for the info. Were SR the same Company as Suntour, or did one buy out the other / merge later on?
