It depends on your headset height, stem height and if you plan to use any spacers or not.

Head tube length is 4.72" (120mm)

Average threadless headset stack height is around 30mm

The average threadless stem takes up about 40mm of steerer.


That means the fork steerer tube will have to be at least 185mm long -- longer if you want to use any spacers to raise the stem.

You should buy that Fox Vanilla R 130 from Jenson for $219. It's a steal. I bought one with the 190mm tube and I love it! It'd be perfect for that frame.

Beats trying to chop extra onto one that's too short :)
