found this pic on our local web site.
There is a woman that brings her dog with her on group rides. Has a similar setup on the rack on her bike.

I take my pup, Ellie, on group rides. She rides behind our tandem in the Burley trailer I carry her back to forth to work in.

I've mentioned this before, but a lady I know at work sometimes takes her parrot (in a cage, of course) on rides with her. She said the parrot gets excited when it's about to go for a ride.
One day a hawk was chasing a bird and swooped right across their path. The hawk was startled and lost its prey, then landed on a fence nearby. The hawk proceeded to watch the lady and her lunch-in-a-cage, oops! I mean, parrot, pedal by.
Sorry, no lunch today!

I have been thinking of hitching my four dogs to a wagon, and driving them around town. To keep them in line, I will attach a T-bone steak to a long pole, and position the steak out in front of them. I think I will have to add brakes to the wagon. Do you think this will work? Could I do this with a bike? :D

Because of the small space in the trailer (two kid version), she stays toasty warm even in temps well below 0 C. One happy puppy.
TCHazzard- what kind of pup is she? She has a Vizsla look about her.

Yes indeed...she is a Vizsla. Ellie is now 8 months old and about topped out as to size. She weighs in at about 40 pounds. She is living up to the reputation of the breed....velcro dog. She is always at my side or in my lap.

Has anyone ever taken a cat with them??? I think two of my kitties would love it, but I think it would kill them to not be able to get out and tackle things.

I've brought my cat to work and back in a carrier lashed to my rear rack. 13 # cat & carrier is noticable. Leo did not seem to mind the trip as much as he does in the car, no pathetic wailing. Then again, maybe he was "scared silent".
