I'm going to be racing my first road races this spring, and I need new tires. I want to get the best bang for my buck, something that's a really good product. Any suggestions?

Continental GP 3000 are not a bad tire... I have use them with good success. ;)

I'm guessing you'll get alot of postive feedback on
Conti 3000 GPs and I would agree really nice tire.
others to check out are Veloflex open pave
and Michelin (forget the models).
For Tubulars: Veloflex pave or Vittoria Corsa's.
I believe that the tubulars, while a bit more of a
hassle, are a better tire for racing but thats
just my $.02 worth.

Continental GP 3000. They are a great tire. I have never had any real problems with them.

Tubulars are definitly nice... But I think they may be a bit over whelming for a newbie to begin with. I'll also 2nd the Vittoria Open Corsa CX Clincher, wonderful ride, $$$$$ though!
