I agree it is not a complex machine for you and me.I travelled through most of Northern Europe with just a box of Tools and some spares in a Ten Year old Car.Did not have a single Breakdown.The secret was a pre travel service and my knowledge about motor cars.It is totally different on a bicycle.You are very tired and up against many obstacles.You need the help and support of a mentor in a strange land.I am thinking of a whole community of Globe Trotters with Mentors in every corner of the world.
