Books, Movies, Music & Entertainment - Any My Name is Earl fans here?

One of the funniest shows I've seen this year. Earl (Jason Lee) is a guy who made a list of all his past bad deeds and each episode tries to make ammends for one & cross it off the list.

Cast is great and the story line completely off the wall. Best part is no stupid laugh track.

Yeah, I have been watching when I can (it's on tonite in fact). It's pretty funny and it doesn't matter if you miss a few episodes here and there 'cause each one is a self-contained story. CHiPs was similar in that regard, though I always thought Ponch was gay but not in a homosexual way if you know what I mean.

What a great show.

The characters are so well defined, and though I expected them to be completely farcical as simpletons, they continuously make their roles seem fresh. Randy's innocence about everything, Joy's mean-spirited attempts to get Earl's money, Crab-Man's totally stoned out look. All perfectly done. Jaime Pressly as Joy deserves an Emmy or something. She's a complete hoot.

i thought it was okay at first. but then after the y2k episode, i was turned off. waaaaaay to dumb for even me.
