Anybody buy the fake leather grips from nashbar? How did you get them on your bars? The inside diameter of the grips is very small not even close to handlebar size and both ends are stiched over. :eek: :(

ich... vinyl is nasty crap. throw them in the can and get something that won't leak pthalates everywhere.

also, go to an arts and crafts store. they sell leather at them sometimes. then by a leather hole puncher, and some leather string and something strong enough to cut the leather... then you can make the real thing.

that's one of the most ****ing brilliant things you've ever posted. i would have never thought of this, and i've done leatherwork. i now have a project to get started on...
