ive broken my rear mech hanger and im goin on holiday tommorow. im gonna go round all the bikes shops i can to find one before i go but if i cant find one could i bodge it for a week?

How lucky are you usually? There are a bunch of slightly different derailleur hangers. You're going to have to be pretty lucky to find exactly the one that you need. My advice is to buy two so you won't get into this position again.
You might be able to find a bolt-on hanger to bodge it with or maybe buy a Tourney derailleur that has the hanger attached.

cheers, i havent had a very luky week so i dont know what will happen but if i cantfind the one i need ill find a simular one n sand it down to fit or somthing like that!
my holiday will be ruined if i cant get it fixed! onli planning on one day without riding!
