I have hade my 97 Diamondback V-link carbon fiber Mountain bike at the lbs since 9-16-02. I hade the pivots replaced because of the flexing on the drive train side. They sent the pivots were put in and that same day the flex came back. The lbs and diamondback have been going back and forth the pivots they say will work dont. I am getting really bummed out. The pivots they have sent twice are not even like the ones I am trying to have replaced. They say they should work. Any ideas on what I can do.

Well, how bad is it flexing? If the flexing dosent annoy you, and the bike shop OK's you to ride the bike then just ride it. Your bikeshop should be able to get the right parts from diamondback, and if they dont seem to be getting anything accomplished then you could take it to another shop and have them take a look. Great to see more people from around here on this site....do you live anywhere around marquette?
