Later MIke Cartridge BB are sold by shell width on the frame and spindle length.Your shell width will be 68 or 73mm. Cranks are speced to use a certain BB length.BB spindle also has to match crank type, being either tapered hole or splined.Shimano splined cranks have two different spline patrterns that are incompatible with each other and also incompatible with ISIS spline pattern.now Nou know all the variables.
