Yeah well long story short my LBS is getting the bike I want (RH) by the end of April, until then they said they'd hook me up on a frame to ride until then, its an Azonic Steelhead 06, I'm getting it for 290$ + Warranty and Installation, you think its worth it?

I'm not really looking for a light performance XC frame, I just want it to be a solid performer for small time FR/DJ and Trial/"Urban" stuff, I mainly looking for strength and for the geometry to be favorable for that kind of riding.

A bud had one and rode skate park/urban on it. It's held up real well.

The truth its just a stopgap frame for me but it'll be my backup bike and I don't want the frame to crack like my last one from abuse by hucking, jumping and trials (hopping, lurching, you know), also the frame will be hold up well in the trails right? I can't live without my good dose of XC lol.

The steelhead is a tank. One of my friends put a jr.t on it and hucked off some huge sh#t. My other friend had an urban set up. He did a lot of stairs and docks to flat. Both are still going strong. The frame is steel, there for really heavy and strong (It is marketed as a freeride/dirtjump/urban frame). I have never in my life seen or herad of someone breaking one of these.
