Dear All,

I got SKS Super Sport frame pump with correct size for my Trek T1000. It supposed to be fit above boom tube, held by pump peg near captain's BB and the other end pressed between boom and downtube. But it doesn't fit. The angle between boom and downtube is too narrow for the pump handle to be fit into it.

Does this frame pump come with additional (optional) mounting bracket?
Is there any component/accessories missing when I bought the pump?

Initially I plan to get Zefal HPX but can't find here in this part of world.
If I mail order from online store, could you guys confirm this pump can be fit for my tandem?

Thanks

I am not able to answer your question but I am curious why you don't get one of the mini-pumps and mount it on a water bottle cage? I have a trunk bag on my tandem and I just toss the pump in there. The mini pumps work so well these days. They do require a few more pumps but I don't get that many flats and the tradeoffs seem quite worth it.

I took this idea even further, mounting one of the combination C02/Mini pumps on the bottle cage. Give us the ease of use of the C02, with the pump as a fall back measure (although I would hate to have to fill the tire using the mini pump).

Can you say Topeak Morph? My guess is your CO2 will be the fall back measure, unless you're racing
Morphs fit easily on boom tubes, they come with their own QR bracket.

Agree on the Topeak Morph, either the road or mt. bike model will do the trick . . . and fit.
Or . . . use a couple strips of velcro and attach pump over/under internal lateral or under toptube.
Pedal on TWOgether!
