If I can get out of work and to the bike shop early enough. I'm going for super low gear ration spin-a-thon, but yeah, I'll call you later and would love to pound out a few laps tonight.

Almost got killed by some a-hole walking his dog who dropped the leash on Sunday... came within 6" of flattening the stupid dog and (likely) killing myself. Bleh.

that was fun! though i missed out on riding with all of you. i made it in time for the cop action. then a guy on a tri-bike asked me if i was doing a group road ride in the park fixed. i said no. he said, "yeah, i didn't think so. that'd be impressive if you could keep up." he took off. i "oh no he didn't"ed and proceeded to prove to him that even in the face of a male inclination toward competitive face-saving, gears do not always make you faster.

if you guys are in the park any other night, i do loops every night after i ride home and i live in the neighborhood. let me know.

dc, man you took off after that first lap. I pulled over to stretch out the knees a bit and after you guys passed I gave chase, unsuccessfully at that.

man, you were all about passing roadies on expensive bikes last night. Between the tri-guy comment and the two dudes with aero bars you were sprinting around like crazy.

haha. thanks for hanging out and riding. it's hard for me to resist trying to race those guys. i always feel like a greyhound chasing a mechanical rabbit. it's sort of pathetic that i'm so susceptible to pavlovian conditioning, but any excuse to ride fast for fun is a good excuse.
