I was returning home from my Tuesday ride when a farm truck passes me within two feet. A young man stuck his head out of the window and yelled, "Get off the road." Suprised and angry I yelled back, "Grow a brain." There was a stop sign about a half a block down the road and the young man stuck his head out the window to look back. He was suprised to see me less than 100 feet back and closing. He turned to the driver and the truck pulled out in front of a car and sped off.

Their friend in a Mustang was stuck at the stop sign as I went past. He was afraid to look at me, but had given me plenty of room on the pass. I should have told him to tell his buddy that I got his license number. Then while laughing, they could worry about their parents finding out. I assume they were High Schoolers on Easter vacation and did not read the part about bicyles in the Rules of the Road booklet.

Yes it is unique and with its own story. Since my midlife crisis is going back to college, my biking and racing friends sarcasticly call me rocket scientist. So when they do something without thinking it through, my response is, "Grow a brain". This is much easier than saying: "Sub Par Rocket Scientist Level Thinking."
