Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Some guy just walked into my work, noticed my bike and mentioned he had a 55, 56 (he wasnt sure) cm Celeste Bianchi track bike from the 60's, and enough parts for a full campy group (which he called gruppo in a terrible italian accident and made me cringe a little). I told him to send me some photos so I could see the condition, but assuming its in average to good condition what might something like that be worth? I don't particualrly need another bike but if the price is right (or maybe I could pass the deal on to someone who needs it more)....

if it's in decent condition, and does in fact have the full campy/cinelli gruppo, anything under $750 would be a deal.
how much of a deal depends on how old it is, and the condition.
