Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Title says it all. I managed to lose mine over the weekend.

I'll try the smaller hardware stores tomorrow. The ones that usually come through after I give up on the big stores.

All the places I've found online have minimum orders of at least $30.

Does anybody sell just one hex key? I think the cheapest ball-end hex key set at Sears is $30.

Bike tools Etc. has one for $2.00 shown here:

Obviously shipping will add more but no where near $30 and I don't think they have a minimum order.

I'll try Sears tomorrow. If they don't sell individual keys I'll order from Bike Tools.

Thank you!

www.mcmaster.com

Catalog page 2707

Part# 5503A44 For the whopping price of $0.92

I guarantee if you need anything else industrial they carry it.

In industry, I haven't found a single product that McMaster doesn't have in stock. When I order in the morning I have the parts the SAME DAY and they only charge for standard ground shipping.

435,000+ products, and one of the best websites I've ever used. :)

McMaster has a lot of stuff useful for cycling.

Plastic bottles with needle tips for lubing chains.

Vibration dampening pads for heavy machinery that I put under the feet of my trainer.

The hex plus keys are good. It's harder to round out bolts.

Hex bolts for Speedplay pedals to replace the Phillips ones.

my families' ACE hardware sells them individually and inexpensive.
