9 speed Campy Ergo levers with a complete 9 speed Shimano drivetrain. I don't see why not, but I may be missing something? Has anybody done this?

Thanks .Campy shifter pull is diffeent than shimano shifter.Sometimes things work becaued it's close enough or due to serendipity,not because it's suppose to. Campy 9 shifters and campy RD work with an otherwise shimano 9 drivetrain,becaues it's close enough,even tho the campy stuff is designed for a a cog spacing of 4.55mm rather than 4.34.

jokes aside, pokey's right. Not meant to work correctly but it will in most cases. At the ends of the cassette you will probably notice more trouble shifting as the spacing discrepancy between Campy and Shimano cogs add up.

So if I also put my proton wheels on it, then it should shift extremely accurate right? The reason is lbs has a cannondale caad4 for sale.

I have never had an aluminum bike before, i have always been addicted to steel. I guess it 's time for a change.
I would swap the Veloce shifters of my Lemond nevada city with the STI from the caad4, and my proton wheels should finish it?
