General Cycling Discussion - How do you keep your hands clean when cleaning your bike?

I don't I like full hands on, don't like the feeling of gloves when cleaning bike.

So what's your preferance when cleaning your bike?

Quite simply, you don't! :D

Vaseline!!! A thin coating of vasline on the areas of hands, wrists and arms that get greasy will make cleanup a snap.

This was taught to me by a cleanfreak engineer, who when he bought a new car, took it directly home and gave it a through detailing.

I like my hands dirty, but the ladies don`t :D
So i use some garage soap, or even better some multicleaner,

I don't worry about my hands, if they get greasy so be it. I've got a strange knack of getting grease on me if I get within 10 feet of a bike. This evening I rode to the store to pick up fruit and veggies. Somehow I got grease on the sleave of my brand new bright yellow windbreaker. First time I have ever wore it. I always have grease on me somwhere.

When I'm worried about it I'll wear gloves but usually I just deal with the grease. I'll use a brush and some good hand cleaner afterwards.
