So I just got a new light, a Planet Bike BRT Spot LED. It's nice and small and all that good stuff. Only problem is that I can;t open the thing. It has a slot at the back where it says open with what looks like a coin prying slot. I've tried it and it gives a little but then I can't get it to pop. I don't want to apply too much pressure since I'm afraid of breaking it.

Is this the proper way of opening it? Or am I just completely dumb or insane?

Okay ignore this. I finally figured it out. A twist. I am dumb. I wanted to delete this but I don't have those priveleges. Sorry! And thanks!

took me a while to figure that out too. but then again, i'm a newbie that's already broken a few things, so i was trying to be really careful.

I can't tell you how often I do something like this. Afraid to destroy something with my overwhelming strength, I baby it, then here comes the wife who pops it loose immediately then gives me a look that says "Wimp!" Of course, no amount of explanation will dissuade the opinion at that point.

FWIW, even if you can't delete a post you can always go edit out the embarassing parts, especially if you change your mind right away before too many people have seen it.
