I have a lady that want to sell a J.C. Higgins (she says year 50-54). Does anyone know what this could be worth? I have attached pics. Please let me know. Email me Decorleon@aol.com

Check out completed auctions on E-Bay. The photos show a bike that appears to be in very good condition. The E-Bay market for "classic" cruisers goes up and down (like the market for Enron stock), but a 1950ish crusier in good original condition could sell in the $400 to $600 range (more for a Schwinn). Of course, the shipping bill is also substantial on these bikes.

I don' t see any straps on the seat tube, from the back rack/fender shot. Pretty cool ride though.
