i have been stripping an old bike 4 parts and was supprised 2 find that the centerpull brakes that were on it which i thought were weinmann have made in japan stamped on the back,(bike is a National,1020 hi tensile with altus group set), i,m dissapointed now i really wanted em 2 be weinmann,s lol !

They're the next best thing; Dia-Compe, Weinmanns made under license in Japan.

Dia-Compe actually produced some brake parts for Weinmann.

Also, the Dia Compe centerpulls are forged, not sure if the Weinmanns were.
