Has anybody else seen this? It's the best movie I've seen in a long, long time.

I'm looking forward to seeing it, but, knowing me, it won't be until next year(or later). I mean, I didn't even notice the thread you started about it until today.:o

I was actually a lot more impressed with this movie than I had orginally planned for. It was really very funny! :)

Yep, I just saw it on DVD. Very cool, and I didn't know what to expect.

I saw it and was pleasantly surprised !
I liked the conversations he had with his Son justifying
his job and outlook on stuff.

Was the movie better than the book?

My favorite quote of that movie...

"When do you sleep?!"

"...Sundays"

it was good, but it didnt really captivate me at all. seemed as though they could have done a lot more, gone a little more in depth.

because our cinema club sponsored it; we saw it twice. Funny and insightful. Not only about smoking but also about the methods lobbyists use to get their way. loved the scene with the son and their discussion about why the US government is so entertaining. Rob Lowe met up with our expectations as to his bizareness.

I was disapointed. I thought it sucked, but what do I know? I thought Zoolander sucked too. :o

I just saw it last night and it is hilarious. The M.O.D. (merchants of death) squad dinners were the best part of the movie, three mouthpieces sitting around one upping each other about whose product (tobacco, firearms or alcohol) kills the most people.

My favorite line is "We found this doctor in Germany, he's been studying the relationship between smoking and cancer for the last 30 years and he hasn't found a link yet! He could disprove gravity."

Did you notice that you never see a character in the movie smoke a cigarette?
