Hi everyone. I am new to BMX bikes. Im looking for one just to cruise around. I dont plan on doing stunts...yet..lol Anyway, I really want a 24" one and I narrowed it down between the DK General Lee 24" and the Haro Backtrail x24. Any suggestions on which one I can choose. My local shop has the Haro on in stock and ready to go. But they have to special order the DK. Also, the Haro is $80 more. Any suggestions on which I should get? Thanks

These are for the General Lee....
Full 4130 Cromoly main frame
Cromoly steerer fork
48H alloy wheelset with sealed rear hub and 14mm axles
3-piece tubular cromoly cranks stand up to Bo and Luke style navigating
39 x 17t drivetrain
Refined DK seating
Tektro alloy U-brakes with detangler
Genuine DK Grips
Colors: Black, Orange
So the DK is cheaper, but you get a full cro-mo frame? I think the Haro parts are probably equal or better, so it comes down to how much and what kind of abuse the bike will see.

Oh, and yourself...
Thats sure alot...

Anyway, I think I'm leaning towards the Haro because I would be able to take it for a spin before purchasing it. On the other hand, I would have to special order the General Lee and they don't have one for me to test ride. All I'll be using this bike is for just riding around my neighborhood and maybe learn basic tricks. If you guys have other suggestions, shoot! Thanks again.
If you're not going to stress the frame, get the Haro. If you're going to be dishing out some abuse, get the DK.

Somewhat true, i was there twice since then ,but the runups were to wet one time, and Devin ate **** the other time...And so we left...
And i can still only think of 2 people with a 24" General Lee
And only one other person besides you with a 20" one...
