Mountain Biking - Trails in Northern Orange County, CA

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am new to this forum, I used to ride MTB bikes, I am looking to train on some pretty hard trails and would like to know where a good trail is that I can build up some riding time.
I live in La Habra, CA and don't have a car to drive to the ride, so please if you know of a good trail close to La Habra.
Thank you,
Shawn

Try here SoCal MTB (http://www.mybikesite.com/trails/trails.cgi?oc_,socal,n,n)
As far as which ones you could ride to, I am not sure. You could also ask on the forum there as well since there a few Orange County riders on it.

I'm orginally from the area, and I've found that the Fullerton Loop is pretty legit. Depending on where you are, it's not too long of a ride and you can just keep hitting it for technical practice.
If it's warmer than 80, bring lots of water - there is almost no shade.
