Hello All,
I'm in the market for a folding MTB and I've narrowed it down to the Dahon 26" and the Montague. I just thought of a question which might be a significant factor in my decision. Now the Dahons fold using the main cross bar, and so there is a specific weight limitation of 230lbs. Now, if I were to be riding one of these bikes in the woods or somewhere rough, then I'd probably not want to catch any air, because on landing the G forces would compound my weight (155lbs) and possibly exceed the the weight limitation, right?
Whereas the Montague is known as being quite rugged and can withstand such maneuvers. Anyone have any comment?
Dean.
