Hey everyone...I'm getting pretty confident taking jumps and drops now and would like to toss in some tricks into them. So I was wondering if you guys could tell me which ones are the easiest to learn at first and maybe a short discription and a picture if you have one. Cause I really don't know that many and the ones I do know I don't know which ones are easy other then a bar turn but I can do that already. Thanks!

X-up is easy money.
To be honest most varry from person to person and their personal fears. I have serious issues taking my feet off the pedals but my buddy got a one footer and no footer in no time flat
Also can you ride fakie?

Sorry, its a snowboard term. Ironically I don't even know what you call it in mountain biking.

I would work on ground tricks to get used to djing tricks (seems backwards eh?) Fufanu and abubuca for example. Once you get those throw in variations, one footer.

Alright thanks for the help Maelstrom I'll work a bit more on the basics!

I would also start slow...(I am cautious)
one hander
x-up (even half way can be a good start)
one footer
Dirty Sanchez ;)
Plus those ground tricks.
Reason being when you get confident landing backwards and spinning 90 degrees you can advance to 180's and landing fakie etc. All will build on themselves.

Some tricks that I am working on are small table tops, x-ups, tail whips, and I am trying no footers, but I have that same problem, I don't feel very comfortable doing that.

No idea what a hot carl is. Dirty Sanchez (I won't explain on this site its meaning) its a slight and sometimes funny variation of the one hander perfected by Cedric Gracia and Steve Peat. Lift finger to nose and hold under nose like mustache haha
seriously childish but sometime hillarious when brought out at the right moment.
Definately NOT a hot carl. One is gross and the other is sexual haha

I have no Idea what both of those are. Haha.
I was refering to a southpark episode where mr garison teaches sex ed and both those, among others, are mentioned.

During bunnyhops, add flicks. The better you're at those, the better chance you'll have of developing STRONG pop off a jump and land a MASSIVE table.
