General Cycling Discussion - Is there an aircraft pilot in the house?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I need to setup an interview for my sophomore research paper, and the whole paper is going to be based on becoming an aircraft pilot. I am going to be gone for a few days to visit relatives, so when I come back I will be checking here. I only need to ask around 10 questions. I am going to be spending most of christmas break doing this stupid paper. Thanks.

Go ahead and PM me, Klein. I've been instructing on light aircraft for 20+ years. Of course I can only offer you the Canadian perspective.

If it needs to be a commercial pilot you could try www.pprune.org
Its full of professional aviation types. The downside is that there are also people that have been no closer to a cockpit than MS Flight Simulator butpretend to be pilots on it.
I hold commercial/ instrument/ instructor ratings if I can be of help ask away...
I'm a commercial pilot/multi-engine with some floatplane and rotor time.
Flying is something that I'vealways wanted to do, ever since I can remember.

My wife has claimed for the last 35 years that I am a "F@#&ing Space Cadet".
I don't know if any of my wisdom can help, but I am willing to tell you anything you want to hear.

Did you go to college at all? I need to type up a resume (projected 4-6 years after I supposedly graduate college) Could you maybe tell me some classes you took or some jobs you had and what you did at them? I really dont know what to put in this resume.
I do have some college, yes. I don't fly for a living, I never did but I do alot of instructing to help defer the cost of building hours. I also know some guys who worked their way from private to some commercial flying, I can probably help by giving their stories.
