I've been using GPS's on my motorcycles for about 6 or 7 years now and love them. I just got another one (GPSMAP 60CSx) to use hiking, camping, and also while biking. When mtn biking I'll most likely just toss it in my Camelbak to record my ride and so I can pull it out if I get too lost. I enjoy not being able to see gizmos while mtn biking and just concentrate on the ride instead, however I can see the use on long extended road rides. I see that Garmin makes handle bar mounts but I'd rather mount it on my stem as not to interfere with hand postions. RAM makes the U-bolt mount that could work but I wouldn't looking at other options as well.

Thoughts, suggestions, or better yet....pictures?

Post up and lets see those mounts!

Try RAM Mounts...

...I have one of their mounts for my Lowrance iFinder H20, and it works great. However, I did have to use a few winds of black hockey stick tape to fatten up the bar to get it to mount securely. Here's a couple of pix...
