Greetings all-Took our new Co-Mo Cappuccino out Saturday for our
first 'real' ride on it. It is one smooth ride! I wouldn't say that
the bumps disappear, but they are way softer than on our old Trek.
The Co-Mo does seem to get up to cruising speed quicker, and our
average speed was a little more than 1 MPH faster than usual. I can't
speak for every team riding a Softride beamed bike, but we seemed to
notice less 'bounce' at a lower cadence. I'm sure we'll get smoother
with more miles. All in all, a super bike! Smooth and quiet. Much
easier to initiate and hold a turn than on the Trek. Later this week we're
off to the SW Tandem Rally in Oklahoma. Long range weather
forecast look great-highs in the 70's!
