Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It's okay.
I used it to remove/remount my front wheel, it takes a minute to fit onto the nut due to the angled wrench face. Once on, it wrenches fine but be sure the wrench is facing with the paddle side towards your palm, or you will get a nice spike in your palm. Now for the important bit, the beer opener. I would have prefered the pry spike to be at the inside part of the paddle, not the end. You have to pry using the opposite motion of most beer openers, pushing down instead of pulling up. It feels a bit awkward. Therefore, I'll probably only use that function in a pinch, which it was intended for anyway I guess.
Overall, this object's unique shape and appearance fits in well with my eccentric lifestyle, despite its flaws.

I have one, and while happy with it, I could have spent less with a 15mm stubby and a bottle opener.

I prefer my 15mm stubby from Sears. My beverage-access needs are sufficiently covered by my Tuggnut.

Lighters are the best bottle openers out there. One of the few life skills I learned in college that I actually still use.

yes also door latches, seatbelt latches, carabiners will all open beer bottles, but none have the odd appeal of the strange alien bling weighteness of the tule.

HOW?
Oh, you poor dear.
Hold the bottle in your left hand high up on the neck. Your index finger actually ought to be so high as to be off the neck itself. Hold the lighter in your right fist with the bottom sticking out between your thumb and index finger. Wedge the bottom of the lighter underneath the bottle cap, pushing up on it with your left middle finger. Pry the ****er open using your left index finger to help lever the cap off.
While learning how to do this, you will cut yourself on the bottlecap. Luckily, cold beer is a good pain killer, whether taken orally or in a topical application.

Wow, that's sounds like a waste of time. I'll stick to using my teeth or someone's head.

Wouldn't it just be easier to use a f*ckn' key. Not everyone smokes, but everyone carries a set of keys.

it's as fast as a bottle opener once you learn how to do it. bic lighters work best, but you can use anything long enough to act as a lever and thin enough to fit between your index finger and bottlecap - cell phones, any kind of cutlery, etc.
someone in europe taught me how to do the teeth thing when i was drunk, but i've since forgotten how.
and I think that's fine.

i have one and i don't like it too much. It's too small for good leverage and the bottle opener part always hurts my hand.

there's also the forearm opening trick (jam your forearm down on top of the bottle and twist, only works for twist offs though) which i incidentally learned in europe.
