got my moab1 the other day, basically built it up, just missing the front der (waiting for my MO to get to the seller).
one question though, how to install the ICBM headset? I pressed the lower bearing into the bottom of the headtube, but the top one could not be pressed on, so i just put the bearing in and then the cap over it. i set the race on the crown then put the rubbher seal between the race and the lower bearing. i have a piece left over, of what looks to be like another race, only smaller, and it's cut.
The top hat of the headset does not cover over the headtube like the headset on my steel singlespeed does. when i turn it looks like the tophat moves as well. anyone know for sure how the headset is supposed to go in? and is the tophat supposed to rotate when i steer? maybe i just didn't bolt the star-fangled nut tight enough? thanks in advance
