Hello,
I recently installed some Planet Bike Freddy Fenders on my LHT and am having a slight problem. I got them dialled in just right, but when I went riding it seems my fantastic rate of speed created a blast of wind sufficient enough to get under the fenders and actually almost lift them off the struts. After 1 ride I have lost half of those rubber jobs at the end of the struts. Does anyone have any tips for securing fenders better? Anything I can replace the rubber caps with?
Thanks,
Mike

Just tighten the nuts that hold the stay onto the fender. Freddy fenders are fine when installed properly. They won't travel up the struts. The rubber tips do come off anyway sometimes. I superglue them on.
Cut a presta valve cover in half and use the top half for a replacement tip. You might need some good glue to hold the presta cap on, they are a loose fit.

Are you tightening down the bolts that fasten the fender onto the strut? Thats the only way I could see them lifting and removing your rubber end caps. If those bolts are tight then I don't know what to tell you.
