Just placed my order online and according to the website it will ship today with free overnight delivery. I keep reading good reviews about the product...about the only thing that anyone complains about it that the battery life doesn't give you a full 12 hours as advertised. The way I see it, the bike cutoff in a full IM is 10:30 so why should I need 12? :)

There have been a lot of threads about this in the Road forum but I think this is a great tool for us Tri-crazies as well. I do have one concern...I'm hoping to mount it on the stem of my tri bike so my noggin will be in between it and the sky...I'm a bit concerned that it will affect the reception. We'll see.

I hope everyone is having a great day!

Why not get the Forerunner 305 and take it on the run with you too???

It'll totally be fine. It's on my stem and I did a TT last week with no signal loss. The electonics in it are really good at picking up a signal.

Already have a ForeRunner 201...got it for Christmas '04 from my wife. I like the larger display on the Edge, I don't think the Forerunner will give me everything I want to see without switching screens. Plus trying to mount the Forerunner on my tri-bike would likely be a pain. Last, I got it for less than $300. The Forerunner would be $350 + the cadence addition...don't know how much that is.
