so i went to put some of the components from the cannondale on my iro and had a little trouble.

i couldnt use my chain on the new chainring and cog. is there some kind of difference i didnt know about between dura ace and iro, and suntour drivetrain components?

im assuming getting a new chaing will help, but what do i need?

sorry for being an idiot. thanks to anyone that can help.

the chainring and cog are prolly 1/8" and the chain is 3/32"

a new 1/8" chain will take care of it.

do a search for the differences between 3/32nd and 1/8th. There was a thread about it yesterday or the day before.

ok so 3/32 is too thin and thats why the pins dont fit between the teeth of the cog and chainring?
