I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these handpowered lights by FreePlay? (www.freeplayenergy.com) I think they would make a very good alternative to battery operated lights and can be rechared. They're actually flash lights but can be attached on your handlebar using this device from Nashbar called Twofish Cyclopblock.

According to the specs, the Jonta if winded up for 90 seconds, could give out light for half an hour. This isn't too bad and that should be enough if you get stuck in the dark. It's certainly a lot less expensive than getting a Schmidt dynohub. The Jonta has a 1 Watt LED.

The radios aren't too bad either and might provide some entertainment during the evening. What do you think of the light and radio?
