I was on the trail today and saw a rider with a prosthetic arm. Now THAT is f'in awesome. That didn't let that keep him from doing what he probably loves. If you're reading this (or anyone that fits this), much respect to you :)

yeah, definently have to agree. Last year in whistler i saw a guy with only one arm riding A-line, which is solid jumps all the way, i have no idea how he did it, only one hand on the bars all the way. Thats talent

Have you heard of the cycling team 3 legged dogs? It is a two man team that does endurance races. One of the guys only has one leg.

Another really cool one is the blind downhiller. He has a spotter ride in front of him telling him what the trail is doing.

The Appalachian Classic MTB Race hasa physically challenged class, and there's actually a MTB amputee organization out there, and the Disabled Vets are doing alot with MTBs & skiing.

Wow. Talk about some skills. Downhill is hard enough when you can see, hehe.

There is a guy here in the front range section of Colorado, hardcore mtbiker with only one leg. Definitely requires a second look when you see him on the trails. He is super strong, he has a gool to make a 3 mile, 1700ft climb in 30 min, which for that climb is a challenging goal for any mtbiker.

dude if i couldnt see the drops and obstacles in the trail, i wouldnt be as nervous. major props to all of those guys though. damn.

Yeah my mate was in Whistler, was looking at someone's M3 and thought it looked really really strange, but he couldnt put his finger on it.

This guy was an amputee due to a MTB ACCIDENT. Yet he continued to ride anyway. My mate said the part that was worse than being beaten down the runs by the guy with one arm was when the guy manualed past him on the road! Apparently he has an awsome outlook on life, my mate asked him if he was left or right handed before the accident and he replied laughing, well I'm left handed now.

Also worht noting hje irdes one armed, soenst use a prosthetic!
