Recumbent - SWB vs LWB

Hi guys. Im wondering whats you take on swb vs lwb. Im looking at checking out and using both but it would be good to have an oppinion on which is better for what.

I'm currently build a Swb, that hasn't been real hard and hasn't cost anything so far. Would a Lwb be as cheap and easy to build. Does anyone know of any good lwb design plans?

Yeah, the LWB would be about as inexpensive to build, but it will need a little more tubing. I assume you're getting the frame materials for free, so that won't be an issue.

There are a few plans out there, some free and some prices at $15-$20. I don't have any links handy, though.

I built my LWB from scratch sort of. The frame, forks, handlbars, came from Denny LaDue in NE and I installed everything else, which came from discarded bikes.

I absolutely love it and ride it every other day. Everyone I pass smiles and lots of people say... nice bike. It's a blast to ride. I'm gradually getting my bent legs and last night I went the fastest yet. It needs a speedo though, so I know how fast, how long etc..

World tour im not getting the pitcure/s of you bike. I've had this problem a bit. Do you know how to fix it? Anyone else is welcome to inform me if they want to

The picture thing must be a browser issue. Did you check the settings, like show this or that, I'm not sure what else you could do.

Thanks ebt, it's not the lightest thing on the road, but heck I'm 6'6"/230lbs. I have no problem moving it quickly. I love it.
