Mountain Biking - Replacing rear shifters ???
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Can replace mine Alivio for Deore and have to pay small amount is that worth it ???
Does i have to replace front shifters too ?? Shimano C50 (worth it )
If you have a Alivio now, there shouldn't be a problem changing to Deore as long and speed & stuff matches.
You do not have to change shifter based on my understanding if the shifters on there now works with the Alivio.
Is that correct changing rear shifters is more worth it than the front shifters ??

Are you having problems with the Alivio shifters? Just wondering, as I had run some for years, and my bike shifted very smoothly and never missed a shift. Mine were "older" Alivio, and seemed to be made better that some shifters to which I have recently "upgraded". Replacing the rear derailleur (and perhaps putting on better cables) may do more to improve shifting that replacing the shifter.
